Yes!!!
We made boxes with bracelets in them and a money slit that we're putting in businesses around town. We sold $200+ worth of bracelets today at school and News Channel 8 is coming at about 12:05 to see what we're doing and interview us.

Today
We sold about $100 worth of bracelets today without trying. Tomorrow we will probably sell more because we never told any students that we were selling them today.

11:00 P.M. Update
The class is fired up, the arrival of the bracelets has really put this effort into high gear! We still have a lot of work to do, but my students are really stepping up to the challenge. We hope to have some picture posted tomorrow on this blog, so be looking for those. We are taking orders for bracelets now...Tweet, blog, or call the school at 563-263-0411 to place an order. If you wish to pay by check, you can make it out to West Middle School and write "Mr. N's Haiti Crew" down at the bottom. You can also make it out to the Red Cross, which is then tax-deductible :) I'm exhausted and pretty sure my punctuation was not up to par on this post, many apologies. buona notte ragazi! Thanks for all your support.

Here It is! This is the design we chose as a class. We went with the rainbow design because we felt if represented the spirit of our effort. Our classes are made up of all different ethnicities, shapes, sizes, and backrounds...we are as diverse as the colors in the rainbow! Also, a rainbow often sybolizes the calm after a storm, a symbol of a fresh start or a new beginning. Please take advantage of purchasing one to help Haiti's cause.
